IT Procurement Transformation Lead

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field. Some years of professional experience and proven track record in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or procurement transformation roles. Strong knowledge of digital procurement tools, platforms, and automation technologies e.g. with SAP Ariba. Experience in managing procurement projects, contract lifecycle management, and supplier relationships. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiating and communication skills. Experience in managing international procurement communities is a plus. Very good fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must, German is a plus.

Lead the transformation of IT procurement into a value-adding, strategic function through standardization and digitalization. Identify and implement key initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance procurement automation, analytics, and decision-making. Implement and monitor IT Procurement principles across all relevant functions. Act as a trusted central procurement business partner for the IT procurement community. Support escalations and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently. Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT procurement strategies with broader business and IT goals. Foster the sharing of innovation, expertise, digitalization, specialist knowledge, and best practices. Manage the international IT procurement community. Support the request and initiative process to accelerate the implementation of necessary solutions. Drive, track, and implement the necessary processes. Ensure user-friendly and streamlined procurement processes. Provide insights and expertise to support strategic procurement decision-making processes. Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with overall business and IT objectives. Detailed development of business cases and budget calculations.
