Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of finance experience. Experience working in a hyper-growth startup is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, and providing support to various departments.
  • Excellent Excel skills, experience using business intelligence tools, and have the ability to quickly learn new financial applications and systems. Experience using Looker is a plus.
  • Experience using complex financial models, and have the ability to use large data sets to build dynamic models that provide valuable insights. 
  • Experience instituting new processes and implementing the latest technology in a fast paced, data-driven environment.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, as you will be partnering and presenting to senior leadership and external partners.
  • SQL experience (not required, but helpful).
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal business leaders and for our investors
  • Participate in budgeting and reforecasting processes, gaining exposure to the full P&L
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to build dashboards and fulfill data requests
  • Grow the FP&A team’s analytical capabilities to better support Operations and Product stakeholders
  • Partner with the Accounting team to build trusted financial reporting systems and internal processes
  • Provide support to our Operations teams to meet and exceed their goals, and to help them manage their monthly spend
  • Provide valuable insight to senior leadership on key metrics and goals
  • Deliver on ad hoc projects

  • Support the Vernova Corporate HQ FP&A Income Manager with the overall consolidation, reporting, analytics, and insights of the Vernova Corporate segment financials, including actuals, pacing, budgets, and long-range forecasts.
  • Establish and refine the processes, operating mechanisms, and tools that enable reporting and analytics for Vernova Corporate segment financials.
