Requirements:
  • 4+ years of management, and proven experience as a manager of managers and technical leads, with a strong track record of leading successful projects from inception to delivery.
  • Proficiency in System Architecture and Design with knowledge of data stores.
  • Good understanding of cloud Technologies (AWS) and streaming data tools such as Kafka, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and proficiency in project management process and techniques such as Staff planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts, effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Responsibilities:
  • Drive the expansion of Nivoda's category offerings on our platform and mobile app.
  • Build a high performing Team that aligns Company’s business objectives.
  • Mentor Managers / Tech leads and retain talent, foster growth plans at each level of the team and define, measure and own key metrics for team performance and Goals
  • Build solutions and own the Technical Direction and decisions alongside the Tech Leads
  • Spearhead translating Business requirements to Tech solutions, strategise long term Engineering Initiatives and own Staffing requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior leaders, and collaborate effectively across departments to drive initiatives.
  • Contribute to the wider Nivoda engineering culture, including developing best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines to be adhered to throughout the development lifecycle
  • Leverage expertise to improve Customer Touch points and ability to make decisions aligned with the company's vision and contributing to strategic growth.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies to inform decision-making and ensure the engineering teams remain competitive
