Through research and grantmaking, we aim to improve lives and share our findings openly for others to build upon. We're tackling some of the world's most important and neglected problems, currently giving away over $700 million annually. Our areas of focus include artificial intelligence risk, global health, scientific research, and more. Our tech stack includes a variety of technologies such as Common Crawl, Cloudflare CDN, and Amazon Web Services. We also leverage technologies like Font Awesome and SSL by Default. We have a remote-first culture with a team of nearly 150 people spread across eleven countries, with offices in San Francisco and Washington, DC.
