Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is a non-profit social organization dedicated to promoting the healthy development of individuals, families, and communities throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. For over four decades, BACR has provided a wide range of strengths-based, trauma-informed direct services in areas like expanded learning, behavioral and mental health, workforce and re-entry programs, and national service initiatives. BACR utilizes a variety of modern technologies to support its mission, including mobile-friendly design with iPhone compatibility and viewport meta tags, content delivery networks, and Google Maps for operational efficiency. They employ a diverse team of 1001-5000 employees, working with a mission-driven approach, striving to promote resilience, health, and justice within the communities they serve. Their work addresses systemic racism, poverty, and inequitable access to resources, highlighting their commitment to equity and social impact. BACR fosters a collaborative environment where employees work with compassion, passion, creativity, and talent. The organization is actively involved in community development and disaster response, as evidenced by the CERC Service & Deployment Coordinator role. BACR's programs impact tens of thousands of people annually, focusing on serving those most adversely affected by social inequalities. With a strong presence in California and active social media channels, BACR demonstrates a commitment to staying connected and engaged with its community and stakeholders.
