🔍 Mortgage
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the mortgage industry, specifically in data extraction or data validation roles at one or more of the following types of companies: OCR or AI data extraction company, Due diligence or Third Party review firm, Quality control firm, Data validation department at a large US bank
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document management, including scanning, indexing, and archiving.
- Experience with optical character recognition (OCR) technology and data visualization tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data sets, generate insights, and present findings effectively.
- Proven track record in performing quality assurance checks on documents and data. Ability to identify and rectify errors, ensuring high standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Accurately recognize and classify various types of residential mortgage documents, especially those associated with fix & flip loans, such as: Loan Applications & Term Sheets (e.g., Uniform Residential Loan Application), Credit Reports & Credit Authorization, Identification & Background Checks, Income Verification Documents (e.g., W-2s, pay stubs, tax returns)
- Validate and enter data from residential mortgage documents into our systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of our document processing systems by providing feedback on document recognition and data extraction processes.
- Train and mentor junior staff on document recognition and data entry procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
