Staff Platform Engineer - Remote

5+ Years of Software Development Experience. Professional experience with Python (5+ years required). Professional experience with Django (5+ years required). Professional experience with JavaScript, with React/Redux experience preferred. Strong fundamental understanding and usage of a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), preferably Postgres. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, with Terraform experience preferred. Comfortable working across the full stack. Solid engineering fundamentals and a passion for high-quality code. Product intuition, user empathy, and the ability to make sound UX decisions. Strong work ethic and end-to-end ownership mentality.

Work directly with CEO, CTO, and a few engineers to build full stack features and improvements. Take end-to-end ownership of work and lead key components of the product roadmap. Refine the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Maintain AWS infrastructure.
