Requirements
- 8+ years of program or project management experience.
- Track record leading large, multi-workstream engagements, ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or public sector implementations.
- Experience managing statewide, enterprise, or multi-site rollouts.
- Ability to present risks, status, and trade-offs to senior internal and customer executives.
- Experience directly managing or mentoring project managers or implementation staff.
- Strong command of program governance, including RAID logs, steering committees, phase gates, and executive reporting.
- Ability to apply governance appropriately without over-engineering simpler engagements.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred, not required.
- Prior experience in K–12 education, state government, or public sector software implementations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Rocketlane, Smartsheet, or similar PM/PSA platforms is a plus.
- Experience establishing or improving a PMO-style governance function is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own program-level delivery for strategic accounts, including statewide and multi-district rollouts, from kickoff through go-live and stabilization.
- Build and manage program plans across concurrent projects, workstreams, and internal teams.
- Establish status reporting, risk and escalation processes, and steering committee cadence for executive stakeholders.
- Identify and manage program-level risks and apply or refine the escalation framework.
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to scope strategic engagements and set delivery expectations.
- Coordinate with Product and Engineering to resolve cross-project dependencies and blockers.
- Manage and mentor Project Owners or Implementation Consultants assigned to strategic accounts.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for strategic account risks.
- Improve program delivery through playbooks, templates, and lessons learned.
