Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience related to security.
- Extensive experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and securing them.
- Experience maintaining and developing security policies for CNI or service mesh platforms, such as Calico or Cilium.
- Experience scanning for and managing vulnerabilities at scale.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Knowledge of Terraform and popular CI/CD tools.
- Experience building scalable, secure, highly available production environments using AWS.
- Knowledge of network security services such as AWS WAF or Cloudflare.
- Ability to develop tools or scripts in Bash or Go to automate work.
- English communication skills, spoken and written, at a minimum B2 level.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the platform meets security practices and standards, including ISO27001, C5, and SOC2.
- Introduce security throughout the platform lifecycle and identify and mitigate security threats.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across several continents.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD systems.
- Ensure services are deployed for high availability.
- Address urgent issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Global Security on platform compliance, risk management, and escalated incidents such as DDoS or abuse cases.
- Audit PMS systems and support secure migration to the central platform.
- Advise engineering teams on infrastructure-related application security, encryption practices, networking standards, and secure CSP integrations.
