Requirements
- Be able to perform offensive security assessments on infrastructure and applications.
- Know how to exploit and fix a wide range of web vulnerabilities, beyond the OWASP Top 10.
- Have experience with a programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Have experience in cloud infrastructure security.
- Be able to explain technical security concepts to non-technical people and support adoption of security measures.
- Be fluent in French and/or English, both spoken and written.
- Be able to work with remote colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security of Pennylane’s application and infrastructure.
- Work with the Product Team to integrate security into features from design through delivery.
- Secure the Ruby on Rails and ReactJS web application, including its dependencies, code, infrastructure, and configuration.
- Conduct secure-development code reviews and detect vulnerabilities, proposing patches.
- Improve CI/CD security and work with DevOps to secure AWS infrastructure, including AWS EKS.
- Conduct application and infrastructure security assessments, including code reviews, penetration tests, and bug bounty assessments.
- Investigate security incidents and logs, block attacks, and propose corrective measures.
- Support ISO 27001 development controls through training, project monitoring, audits, and management of technical non-conformities.
- Improve secure-development training materials and security awareness, and contribute to the Security Champions program.
