Requirements
- Bring extensive senior leadership experience in BSS engineering and product management within telecommunications, CPaaS, UCaaS, or enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrate deep functional and technical expertise across billing, rating, CPQ, order management, provisioning, and revenue management.
- Have experience managing enterprise platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, Zuora, Amdocs, Oracle Communications, CSGi, NetCracker, or Optiva.
- Understand end-to-end quote-to-cash and order-to-cash processes, subscription management, usage-based billing, and complex monetization models.
- Have experience defining product strategies and roadmaps and aligning engineering delivery with commercial and operational objectives.
- Know API lifecycle management, API gateway technologies, usage metering, and monetization capabilities in CPaaS or UCaaS environments.
- Have experience designing and managing scalable, secure, multi-tenant platforms across products, markets, and geographic regions.
- Be familiar with revenue assurance, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, and relevant regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead large, geographically distributed, matrixed engineering and product teams.
- Have a record of establishing engineering governance, improving delivery performance, and managing complex technology transformations.
- Have experience using AI-powered solutions, automation, and data-driven tools to improve engineering efficiency, product quality, and operations.
- Bring strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence senior executives and align cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead global BSS engineering strategy, architecture, delivery, and platform performance across billing, rating, provisioning, ordering, and revenue management.
- Establish engineering standards for system integration, release management, automated testing, observability, technical debt, and reliability.
- Ensure BSS platforms are scalable, secure, compliant, and able to support multi-product and multi-region operations.
- Define the BSS product strategy and roadmap, translating commercial, financial, regulatory, and customer requirements into prioritized initiatives.
- Oversee quote-to-cash and order-to-cash processes, including CPQ, order management, provisioning, billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Develop usage-based and hybrid monetization capabilities, including CDR and API event mediation, real-time charging, wallets, and prepaid and postpaid models.
- Strengthen revenue assurance through reconciliation controls, billing accuracy standards, service-level agreements, and fraud prevention.
- Oversee platform compliance and audit readiness across SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and telecommunications tax requirements.
- Lead BSS capabilities and API monetization infrastructure for CPaaS and UCaaS platforms, including metering, rate limits, quotas, and tenant isolation.
- Build and develop a globally distributed organization of engineering managers, product owners, architects, and delivery specialists.
