Job Details

At least 5 years of accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles and practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and solve accounting-related issues.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Familiarity with accounting software such as MS NAV, MS Dynamics, Great Plains, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is preferred.
CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Experience working in a consumer products company is preferred.

Process and verify vendor invoices, including accurate coding and entry into the ERP system.
Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage payments.
Prepare weekly cash disbursement reports and allocate shipping, customs, and other costs to inventory items in the ERP system.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, apply payments, and resolve discrepancies, chargebacks, and short payments.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams on customer invoicing requirements and order fulfillment terms.
Prepare aging reports and track accounts receivable performance metrics.
Prepare and review journal entries related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer-specific transactions.
Support month-end and year-end close, financial analysis and forecasting, and financial audits.
Contribute to accounting process improvements and support financial projects and initiatives.
