Job Details

Have 3–5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
Have a master’s degree in a related field.
Have professional experience with Python and FastAPI or Flask.
Have deployed Python applications to production.
Understand software design patterns.
Understand backend performance, parallel processing in background jobs, and multithreading.
Be proficient in performance tuning for heavy AI models.
Have applied machine learning experience, including training, evaluating, and maintaining small task-specific models.
Be familiar with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and context window optimization.
Be able to debug AI behavior, identify root causes, and make targeted fixes.
Have strong testing practices for backend and AI components.
Have experience with background processing using Celery or other major libraries.
Have experience monitoring APIs and background processing, and ensuring visibility and error reporting.
Nice to have: Docker, CI/CD, deployment automation, and Kubernetes experience.

Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI-powered backend systems.
Integrate LLMs and traditional ML models into performant, scalable architectures.
Integrate and optimize vector databases for RAG pipelines and traditional ML queries.
Write clean, well-structured, testable Python code following best practices.
Optimize performance and decision-making to reduce latency, including for heavy AI models.
Build hybrid architectures that balance LLM calls with traditional ML.
Debug issues spanning backend, AI inference, and UI integration.
Conduct development testing before QA handoff.
Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend engineers.
