Requirements
- Have 8-10+ years in content roles in B2B tech; cybersecurity experience is strongly preferred.
- Show a track record of content-sourced pipeline, organic traffic and rankings, and engagement that turned into meetings.
- Have operated as the content engine at a small company, shipping weekly without a large team, budget, or pre-existing strategy.
- Demonstrate excellent writing and editorial judgment, including the ability to explain complex security topics simply and credibly.
- Have proven executive ghostwriting experience and a system for capturing executive voice.
- Be fluent in applying AI to content workflows and able to explain a workflow you built, where it failed, and what you changed.
- Research packaging experience, such as threat reports, benchmarks, or original analysis, is a plus.
- SEO experience using agencies or contractors and a point of view on AEO are a plus.
- Short-video, explainer, or visual-asset production experience—or the judgment to direct contractors—is a plus.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, exposure management, or AppSec/CloudSec is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the content engine, editorial calendar, and recurring content series across LinkedIn-first social, blog, video, and long-form.
- Lead SEO and AEO so content is discoverable by buyers and models.
- Track which content pieces move deals and use those findings to guide production.
- Write top- and middle-of-funnel blog posts, ebooks, and whitepapers.
- Develop social strategy and publish regular series and timely posts.
- Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO, and technical leaders, and build systems to capture their ideas and voice.
- Turn research, threat findings, and product insights into analysis and a flagship research report.
- Respond to breaking security news with timely point-of-view content.
- Use AI and coordinate contractors and tools to produce content while maintaining accuracy and voice.
