Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of customer-facing presales solutions engineering or technical consulting experience.
- Have proven success supporting complex State, Local, or Higher Education pursuits.
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with public-sector procurement cycles, fiscal-year budget cycles, and multi-tier committee evaluations.
- Bring hands-on mastery of enterprise integration patterns, web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), asynchronous message queuing, and secure data movement.
- Have experience with Boomi Event Streams, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Communicate technical and strategic information to audiences including security teams, database administrators, agency leaders, and university executives.
- Have experience with zero-inbound firewall configurations, reverse proxies, DMZ edge gateways, and hybrid runtime placement across government data centers and cloud VPCs.
- Preferred: experience integrating higher-education SIS/LMS or State/Local ERP systems.
- Preferred: StateRAMP or FedRAMP familiarity, AWS or Azure cloud architecture certification, CISSP, or TOGAF.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration architecture across state and local agencies and university systems, including Application Integration, EDI, and Managed File Transfer.
- Architect solutions that meet public-sector security and compliance frameworks, including StateRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, and NIST SP 800-53.
- Direct technical evaluation strategies and author architecture narratives and security responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and cooperative purchasing evaluations.
- Partner with SLED Account Executives to conduct consultative discovery and align technical capabilities with mission outcomes.
- Lead Proof of Value evaluations that validate Boomi runtime configurations across hybrid data centers and government cloud environments.
- Design connectivity between public-sector and higher-education systems of record and cloud platforms.
- Coordinate domain specialists, field engineers, and partner solution architects on technical pursuits spanning iPaaS, API Management, DataHub, and AI.
