Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing technical programs in a software engineering environment.
- Ability to handle complex issues independently and work with senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of how software is built and shipped, including sprints, releases, and dependencies.
- Data fluency, including defining metrics, tracking them rigorously, and using them to surface risks and drive decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners across global engineering teams.
- Sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills when making decisions on complex issues.
- Ability to recognize when to escalate and follow up respectfully and persistently with senior leaders and engineers.
- Experience delivering executive presentations and reporting, and using AI assistants with good judgment.
- Hands-on Jira and Confluence administration, including JQL, dashboards, and workflow configuration, is an advantage.
- Experience building or customizing AI workflows, such as reusable prompts, skills, or light scripting in Python or SQL, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud, database, or developer-platform products and process frameworks such as CAPA, OKRs, or agile planning methods is an advantage.
- A program management certification such as PMP or CAPM is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of technical programs and keep each aligned with organizational priorities.
- Own program cadence, including tracking, status updates, and risk logs.
- Escalate blockers early and provide clear recommendations.
- Build and maintain executive-ready reports and dashboards covering delivery, spend, support metrics, and engineering velocity.
- Lead alignment across global engineering teams and senior leaders.
- Clarify strategic requirements and plans across teams.
- Communicate ideas persuasively to influence team decisions and program outcomes.
