Requirements
- Bring significant experience developing applications in team environments.
- Work effectively with Product Managers to develop technical specifications for large, complex projects.
- Have experience using React for frontend development.
- Have backend language experience, such as Node, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Symphony.
- Have a strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Be able to research and synthesize new frameworks, libraries, and techniques and explain them to junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical vision for your area.
- Lead technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Own parts of the software stack, including researching and rolling out technical frameworks or developing a UI component library.
- Work with Product Managers to develop technical specifications for large projects with complex scope.
- Research and synthesize technologies, then explain and evangelize them to more junior engineers.
