Have 7+ years of software engineering experience.
Have experience as a tech lead, founding engineer, CTO of a small company, or the engineer responsible for holding a product together.
Have shipped production code in at least three different technology stacks.
Be comfortable picking up new technology stacks quickly.
Have taken over a messy codebase and a discouraged team, and be able to explain what you did first.
Use coding agents every day and be able to show your setup.
Be able to work directly with GMs, operators, and customers.
Exercise sound independent judgment without daily oversight.

Pick up the company's stack, work in its codebase, and ship working software to customers early and often.
Modernize the software development lifecycle with CI, tests, staging, feature flags, reliable deployments, and coding agents.
Coach existing engineers and help them improve their work.
Work with the GM to set the roadmap and own trade-offs.
Set up coding-agent workflows that help teams complete work faster, and teach the team to use them.
Put AI capabilities, including retrieval, tool use, evaluations, and guardrails, into production.
