Requirements
- Have extensive experience building modular, composable, and well-documented component libraries and/or design systems.
- Have deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Be familiar with styling approaches such as CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, and Sass.
- Be familiar with design-system tooling such as Storybook, Chromatic, and token pipelines.
- Have experience collaborating closely with designers and non-engineering partners.
- Show strong attention to detail and a high bar for craft.
- Have a genuine passion for accessibility and inclusive design.
- Be familiar with testing UI components and visual regression testing.
Responsibilities
- Build out LangChain’s component library.
- Design and implement reusable, composable React components.
- Partner with designers to translate design systems, tokens, and interaction patterns into code.
- Develop design-system tooling and workflows for theming, tokens, versioning, testing, and component discovery.
- Make architectural decisions that support accessibility, performance, consistency, and maintainability.
- Optimize build performance, bundling strategy, and component-library package versioning.
- Maintain tooling for testing and dependency management of the UI app.
