Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in proposal creation or contract development within consulting or life sciences.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience handling a high volume of contracts.
- Familiarity with evaluating business terms for inclusion in contracts.
- Experience enhancing business processes.
- Solid understanding of documentation control processes, including diligence reviews.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools in legal, contracting, or related business processes, or a strong interest in developing practical AI skills.
- Desktop publishing experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with international workplaces, particularly the UK and EU, is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of global client contracts in partnership with Account Teams and the Legal Department.
- Draft initial client contracts and ensure agreements meet legal requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate internal contract reviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Check draft contracts for formatting and quality, and provide guidance on structure, compliance, and execution.
- Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate revisions with clients and explain intellectual property and data use provisions when needed.
- Maintain the contract repository and update templates.
- Develop tools and processes to improve contract development and execution.
- Support implementation and adoption of the AI-enabled legal tool in contracting workflows.
