Requirements
- Five to ten years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud project experience, including patient management, care coordination, and healthcare data architectures.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping processes, conducting gap analyses, and writing functional specifications.
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and backlog refinement.
- Practical experience using Jira and Confluence for user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and project documentation.
- Direct experience or in-depth familiarity with US healthcare systems, payer and provider workflows, and clinical or administrative processes.
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements and appropriate handling of protected health information (PHI).
- Ability to understand Salesforce Health Cloud data relationships and collaborate on scalable, compliant configurations.
- Experience developing test plans and functional test cases, coordinating UAT, managing defects, and validating implemented solutions.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate clinical and operational needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Preferred, but not mandatory: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional or Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities throughout the Salesforce Health Cloud implementation lifecycle.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions with healthcare administrators, clinical teams, and business leaders.
- Analyze patient management, care coordination, and other healthcare workflows; document current-state processes, gap analyses, and future-state workflows.
- Translate clinical and business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications, and maintain documentation in Jira.
- Create process flows, data mapping diagrams, wireframes, and use cases.
- Apply Salesforce Health Cloud data model knowledge to support solution design for patient and member profiles, care plans, clinical data structures, and household relationships.
- Coordinate with technical teams on healthcare data governance and HIPAA and PHI handling requirements.
- Develop test plans, functional test cases, and UAT scenarios; coordinate testing, document defects, and validate fixes.
- Develop end-user training materials, process guides, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with solution architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout design, testing, and implementation.
