Experience: At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including 4 or more years focused on backend development. At least 3 years of production experience with Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP. At least 2 years of React and TypeScript experience.

Have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including 4 or more years focused on backend development.
Have at least 3 years of production experience with Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP, including shipping, operating, and maintaining production systems.
Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent daily, and be able to evaluate and validate their output.
Bring strong PostgreSQL expertise, including practical SQL, transaction semantics, and performance optimization.
Have experience designing REST APIs and implementing background job processing with retries using Oban or an equivalent solution.
Have experience in loyalty platforms, travel technology, payments, or FinTech.
Have at least 2 years of React and TypeScript experience and be able to independently deliver complete frontend features.
Have working knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, RDS, and S3, plus Docker and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Have professional fluency in English.
Additional relevant experience includes LLM APIs or AI-agent workflows, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, Phoenix LiveView, Node.js with Express, or GraphQL.
Familiarity with multi-tenant B2B platforms, multi-region architectures, observability tools, SOC 2 requirements, or related security and compliance practices is an advantage.

Design, build, and operate Elixir services using Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP, including APIs, workers, and background jobs.
Develop and evolve partner-facing REST APIs, including API versioning, outbound webhooks, and reliable delivery mechanisms.
Build and maintain transaction systems involving double-entry ledgers, loyalty point balances, settlement, and reconciliation.
Deliver end-to-end frontend features using React and TypeScript for administrative interfaces and partner dashboards.
Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code to accelerate development, reviewing generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews and scrutinize system design, transaction integrity, and platform reliability.
Document technical decisions through pull request descriptions, architecture notes, and documentation updates.
Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on AWS deployment, monitoring, security, and platform improvements.
