Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Understanding of software architecture, system design, application security, and performance optimization.
- Strong front-end development experience, preferably with React.js.
- Hands-on experience building mobile applications, preferably with React Native.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Elixir, or similar technologies.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS or GCP, and practical experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Must be able to work in Malaysia/Singapore time (GMT+8) and be proficient in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Own features end to end, from technical planning and implementation through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications using AWS, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and improve system performance and scalability.
- Contribute to code reviews, engineering best practices, and improvements in code quality and development workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining code quality and reliability.
