Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in Pre-sales Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting in B2B SaaS.
- Bring a strong background in IAM, cybersecurity, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Have hands-on experience with SAML SSO, identity federation, and enterprise authentication flows.
- Have a proven track record running successful enterprise POCs and technical evaluations.
- Be comfortable engaging senior technical buyers in Security, IAM, and IT Architecture.
- Communicate complex systems clearly in writing and verbally.
- Post-sale implementation or Customer Success experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to drive technical validation for enterprise new-business and expansion opportunities.
- Lead technical discovery into customer identity architecture, security posture, and success criteria.
- Run enterprise demos and proofs of concept tied to documented customer requirements and decision criteria.
- Explain Nametag’s value in the context of IAM, authentication flows, and account protection.
- Advise security, IT, and identity stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
- Define technical success criteria and acceptance standards for each deal.
- Hand over full deal context to Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Technical Customer Engineering teams.
- Provide technical oversight during implementation to keep onboarding aligned with what was sold and agreed.
- Share product gaps, competitive insights, and recurring objections with Product and Leadership.
- Support renewals and expansions involving architecture changes, new use cases, integrations, and evolving security requirements.
