Requirements

  • Bring 8 to 12 years of hardware product management or product line management experience.
  • Have owned the business case and lifecycle for a connected electrical or energy product line.
  • Have experience taking integrated hardware, firmware, and software products from concept to volume production.
  • Bring a track record in residential EV charging, solar, storage, inverters, smart panels, load management, or adjacent home energy sectors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Have experience driving pricing, cost, certification, and launch execution in a matrixed environment.
  • Understand home energy integration standards, including UL 3141, UL 9741, IEEE 2030.5, OCPP, and ISO 15118.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes vehicle-to-home or bidirectional power, microgrid interconnection devices, backup power, or utility programs such as demand response and virtual power plants.
  • Preferred experience includes smart-home ecosystems or standards and launching products in both North America and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and strategy for home and residential AC hardware, including pricing, demand, and build-quantity decisions.
  • Lead products from development through early access and launch, making go/no-go decisions and managing factory readiness, ship criteria, and certification.
  • Define the home energy strategy, including load management, panel-upgrade avoidance, V2H/V2G, and smart-home standards.
  • Own product relationships with intelligent power management companies, utilities, and automotive OEMs.
  • Represent the product in utility pilot and managed-charging programs.
  • Drive post-launch field quality with Quality, CX, and Engineering, turning installer and driver feedback into prioritized fixes and roadmap decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-vertical dependencies with Commercial, Fleet, and DC Charging, prioritizing shared engineering capacity against the AC charging backlog.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies with Residential Sales, Channel, and Product Marketing, including positioning, packaging, launch, and sales enablement.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate product definition, analysis, and delivery.
