Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer.
- Have experience using AWS tools and solutions to run a data environment end to end.
- Be able to work independently without constant guidance.
- Be comfortable working in ambiguous environments that require iteration and investigation.
- Have a track record of working with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as marketing, product, engineering, and finance/accounting.
- Preferred: Have experience automating complex datasets using SQL, Python, or a similar tool.
- Preferred: Have experience building and maintaining APIs to connect data environments and pull raw data from various sources.
- Preferred: Have experience with data environments for digital gaming platforms or subscription services.
Responsibilities
- Meet with Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Publishing, and other teams to understand their needs for the data environment.
- Track and prioritize short-term and long-term projects.
- Build improved ways for teams to access and view data.
- Support the steady functioning of data access and reporting systems.
- Investigate and implement improvements to data pipeline cost and reliability.
