Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Bring 6+ years of progressive experience as a finance systems administrator with NetSuite and financial systems tools such as Zip, Avalara, or Expensify.
- Have hands-on IT support experience troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues.
- Have experience with NetSuite data migration, data mapping, data integration, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Zone and Company billing, and Salesforce integration.
- Have administrator-level knowledge of privileged access, content groups, multiple charts of accounts, dynamic approval chains, custom objects, tax codes, tolerances, custom workflows, supplier configuration, and report building.
- Know ITGCs and have experience in SOC-, ISO-, and SOX-compliant environments.
- Have experience integrating accounting systems with Salesforce/SFDC; CPQ experience is preferred by the stated role context.
- Understand project management concepts and tools such as GitHub, Monday.com, and Miro.
- Know core accounting processes including order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report.
- Be able to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a rapidly changing global and remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations, administration, troubleshooting, and user support for NetSuite and other finance business systems.
- Configure and maintain NetSuite Financial, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Zone billing modules, including workflows, custom fields, scripts, and integrations.
- Manage user access, segregation-of-duties reviews, change management, ITGC, SDLC, SOX compliance, and data integrity.
- Oversee finance-system governance and maintenance of general ledger accounts, cost centers, products, and related structures.
- Manage tickets and track open cases and change requests through resolution.
- Plan and manage finance transformation projects focused on order-to-cash processes, including quoting, order management, revenue recognition, billing, collections, and cash application.
- Gather requirements and implement process improvements with Sales, Legal, Engineering, Finance, IT, Sales Operations, and Business Applications teams.
- Define project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and data-driven measures of program success.
- Create finance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using NetSuite native tools and Grafana.
