Requirements
- Have 4+ years of NetSuite development and/or administration experience.
- Have experience working with an Agile methodology and task management system.
- Have hands-on experience with NetSuite script types, including User Event, Client, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet.
- Have experience writing automated tests in any language or framework.
- Have hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in day-to-day development.
- Use sound judgment to verify or reject AI-generated output.
- Understand core business processes such as Order to Cash and Procure to Pay, and basic accounting principles.
- Have integration experience with iPaaS, APIs, or direct point-to-point connections, and understand system authentication methods.
- Be comfortable with NetSuite configuration and administration, including roles, permissions, and saved searches.
- Bring attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Define, document, and execute NetSuite development tasks in an agile team process managed in Atlassian Jira.
- Deliver SuiteScript code and designs that follow software development best practices and address root causes.
- Design and implement unit, integration, and regression test coverage for critical customizations and integrations.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for SuiteScript, integration, and test development, applying design-first practices.
- Help define standards for AI-assisted changes, including change-management evidence for SOX/ITGC controls.
- Contribute architecture decision records, coding standards, and integration documentation.
- Partner with the NetSuite Administrator to audit and govern roles, permissions, workflows, and bundle usage.
- Develop, architect, and support scalable integrations between NetSuite and other business systems.
- Collaborate with business users across Supply Chain & Logistics, Financial Systems, and Member Experience to translate requirements into solutions.
