Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience using Odoo ERP or similar accounting systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of English, spoken and written.
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Process supplier invoices and payments, customer payments, expenses, and receivable balances.
- Reconcile store sales with POS reports, review cash deposits, and investigate discrepancies.
- Record inventory transactions, support stock counts, and investigate inventory variances.
- Calculate and allocate freight, customs duties, and other import expenses to inventory.
- Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations and review account balances.
- Assist with monthly financial closing and prepare financial schedules and reports in line with IFRS and company policies.
- Review payroll records and calculations, and verify payroll entries and account allocations.
- Maintain VAT documentation and assist in preparing VAT reports in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and store teams and support improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
