Requirements
- Have Python development experience.
- Have experience managing and working with relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Have previous exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (1 year).
- Understand programming and database principles.
- Be familiar with cloud computing concepts, specifically Azure Gov Cloud.
- Hold Azure 900 and Security+ baseline certifications, or be able to attain them within the first six weeks.
- Be willing to travel to meet clients as needed, up to one week per year.
- Be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit data requirements and architect data pipelines.
- Perform data transformations and cleansing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Evolve existing scripts and notebooks to meet client needs.
- Work with data managers to ensure data quality aligns with project objectives.
- Document programming efforts, processes, technical specifications, and best practices.
- Coordinate with the broader team to support project success.
- Submit monthly status reports on project efforts.
