Requirements
- Have at least 1–2 years in a Product Lead role.
- Have proven experience developing platform products, not only user-facing or growth products.
- Bring a platform mindset covering infrastructure, scalability, stability, and efficiency of internal processes.
- Have experience with product strategy and long-term roadmaps.
- Have people-management experience; the role manages a team of three from day one.
- Be able to align the needs and priorities of internal product teams that use the platform.
- Have sufficient technical fluency to discuss technical topics and make trade-offs with Engineering; an engineering background is not required.
- Have B2 or higher English for communication within an international team.
- Experience with communication platforms is a bonus.
- A background in banking or fintech is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and long-term roadmap for the Communications Platform across In App Communications, Vendor Channels, Notification Center, and Event Operations.
- Own the In App Communications area, including Push, Pop-up, and Banners, and prioritize its backlog, track metrics, and drive releases.
- Lead and grow a team of 2 Product Managers and 1 Project Manager through development, goal-setting, and scalable processes.
- Gather needs from product teams that use the platform, including Acquisition and Collection, and incorporate them into platform strategy and the In App Communications backlog.
- Improve platform economics, including service notification costs, the balance of paid and free channels, and cross-channel sending rules.
- Drive platform stability, delivery speed, and the speed of creating new notification events.
- Partner with Engineering on infrastructure, delivery, integrations, and technical trade-offs.
- Support integration of new communication channels and work with external providers for SMS, WhatsApp, and Email.
