- 3+ years of field property claims experience
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of field property claims experience.
- Have Claims Connect/Symbility estimating experience, including large loss estimation.
- Hold an adjuster license in the home state, or a non-resident license if a license is not required there.
- Meet licensing requirements in additional states as needed.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Large/complex loss estimating and claims handling experience is highly preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Experience in catastrophe-focused environments is highly preferred.
- Professional designations are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scope and estimate first-party homeowners and commercial claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage and damage issues.
- Communicate investigation findings to customers.
- Partner with contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, and internal business partners to handle complex claims.
- Identify suspicious losses and recommend SIU review.
- Assist with suspicious-loss investigations when necessary.
- Handle claims in compliance with applicable regulations and internal processes.
- Support catastrophe response as needed, including potential overtime and deployment.
