Have 5–9+ years of software engineering experience.
Bring experience building and scaling backend platforms, ideally in a global or multi-regional context.
Be proficient in backend development with Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or similar.
Have experience architecting high-scale services and APIs.
Have working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Have experience with A/B testing or experimentation systems.
Use data to inform product decisions.
Hold a BS in Computer Science or have equivalent practical experience.
Insurance, payments, fintech, or other regulated-domain experience is a plus.

Build and own backend services and APIs for policy, coverage, enrollment, and regional rules.
Translate regional regulatory and product requirements into configurable, reusable platform capabilities.
Implement experimentation hooks, logging, and metrics for testing offers and measuring attach rate.
Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Legal, and other engineering teams to prioritize work.
Use data to identify conversion and reliability gaps and drive improvements.
Mentor engineers and promote best practices in code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
Design, build, and operate distributed backend services with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Write and review code and technical designs, and make architectural trade-offs.
Build data pipelines and events that support analytics and experiments.
Participate in on-call rotations and help improve system reliability.
