Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bring experience with large-scale production systems.
- Have software engineering experience in a highly technical organization.
- Demonstrate software development experience with Kubernetes APIs and frameworks, beyond operating a cluster.
- Know a systems programming language such as Go or Python.
- Have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Hold a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable degree, or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience with common software engineering principles, tools, and techniques.
- Bring experience managing and automating large-scale distributed systems independent of cloud providers.
- Have hands-on experience with cluster management systems such as Kubernetes, Slurm, or Bright Cluster Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom software for scheduling GPU resources on Kubernetes.
- Build monitoring and health-management capabilities for GPU assets.
- Use GPU hardware diagnostics, cluster telemetry, and network telemetry.
- Work with NVIDIA teams to keep production AI clusters reliable and consistent.
- Evaluate system failures and improve services through the incident management process.
