Requirements
- Have a proven track record in B2B sales or business development, taking sales from prospecting through quotation to close.
- Demonstrate commercial judgment around pricing and margin, with attention to detail when preparing quotes.
- Build customer and distributor relationships independently and deliver against targets with limited day-to-day direction.
- Prioritize work across multiple markets and develop an approach to a market without relying on a script.
- Have hands-on experience with prospecting and lead-generation tools and be comfortable using AI in the sales process.
- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English, including commercial discussions with international distributors and Australian head office stakeholders.
- Learn technical products quickly and explain them clearly.
- Be confident using CRM and ERP platforms, or able to learn them quickly.
- A tertiary qualification is strongly preferred; business, sales, or marketing qualifications are a plus.
- Export, distributor, channel sales, or international account management experience is a nice-to-have.
- Medical device, healthcare, or medical imaging experience is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Build a data-driven plan for target countries, distributors, and customers.
- Generate leads using prospecting tools such as Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator and AI tools.
- Research, assess, onboard, and manage distributors and resellers in assigned markets.
- Track distributor performance against agreements and maintain regular review calls.
- Manage opportunities through close, providing quotes, reference pricing, product information, and tender support.
- Deliver product and sales training to distributors and coordinate campaigns and newsletters with Marketing.
- Support product registration, import, and regulatory requirements with internal owners.
- Track orders, coordinate preparation and shipping with Supply Chain, and resolve documentation or fulfillment issues.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide territory and pipeline updates to the Business Manager.
