Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the ion exchange industry.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to articulate key aspects of product lines and services.
- Ability to communicate effectively using various technologies and across customer interactions.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience in relationship management and negotiation preferred.
- Ability to mentor less experienced sales associates preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of water treatment processes and equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and improve existing customer relationships.
- Execute new business development goals for the assigned territory and accounts.
- Assist other sales territories when needed.
- Maintain Zoho CRM data for existing customers and new prospects.
- Provide monthly sales and volume forecasts.
- Generate professional quotes with supporting documentation aligned with company products, goals, and initiatives.
- Negotiate commercial terms and facilitate purchase-order handoffs to customer service for order entry.
- Communicate with customers during order execution and follow up to understand current and future ion exchange needs.
- Provide technical assistance to existing and prospective customers on ion exchange resins and absorbents.
- Meet or exceed business goals and attend and promote assigned trade shows.
