Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience in the automotive data industry, automotive aftermarket, OEM, or associated automotive technology sector.
- Demonstrate a track record of acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Have strong experience selling automotive data, information, analytics, or technology solutions.
- Bring prospecting, networking, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Have experience developing senior-level customer relationships.
- Be commercially driven with a strong hunter mentality.
- Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with wider teams.
- Be highly numerate and able to understand and present data-led solutions.
- Have strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Existing networks in automotive aftermarket, OEM, or automotive technology sectors are preferred.
- Experience managing reseller or partner networks is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive data, parts, repair, maintenance, or vehicle information solutions is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities throughout North America.
- Execute outbound prospecting and account development activities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and deliver agreed revenue and growth objectives.
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements.
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders, distributors, reseller partners, and industry influencers.
- Create territory plans and market penetration strategies, and identify market opportunities and industry trends.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings across North America.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts, and provide sales updates and market intelligence.
