Requirements
- Bring 5–10 years of progressive experience in field sales, business development, or a related field.
- Have CRM and pipeline-tracking experience, including pipeline management and reporting; Salesforce is preferred.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
- Have a solid understanding of B2B sales and dealer network development, with demonstrated ability to develop and close new business.
- Be able to analyze opportunities and evaluate return on investment for growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
- Have project management, organization, and problem-solving skills, with consistent follow-through.
- Experience in a private equity-backed, high-growth, or global manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with dealer or distribution networks, Salesforce.com, B2B marketing tools, retail, or negotiation is preferred.
- Be able to work from a home office with a high-speed internet connection of at least 500 Mbps.
- Be available for seasonal travel up to 50% of the time; occasional weekend travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new dealer and distribution opportunities in targeted markets across the United States and Canada.
- Support North America Business Development initiatives and market expansion efforts.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and evaluate potential dealer partnerships.
- Manage assigned new-dealer opportunities from prospecting through closing.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations with regional sales managers and directors.
- Use Salesforce.com and B2B marketing tools to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, and support accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams on dealer acquisition and market development.
- Provide competitive and market feedback to support product positioning and go-to-market initiatives.
- Build relationships with Regional Sales Directors and Sales Managers to support forecast accuracy across new and existing business.
- Assist with dealer onboarding and early-stage development to support dealer performance and growth.
