Job Details

Experience: 7+ years experience in some combination of software/hardware/systems engineering or leadership in technical operations.
Required Skills: Software Engineering

Have 7+ years of experience in some combination of software, hardware, or systems engineering, or leadership in technical operations.
Have experience designing, building, and operating large-scale orchestration systems.
Have experience working with major internet protocols and standards, including DNS, Whois, and RDAP.
Have experience with and passion for working in the internet security space.
Be able to step across organizational boundaries to solve problems.
Have a strong understanding of architectural trade-offs at different orders of magnitude of scale.
Be broadly conversant in modern approaches to software engineering, systems engineering, operations, and infrastructure management.
Be able to articulate and defend designs from architectural first principles and adapt them to the realities of a complex business.
Bring strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to bring others along when addressing difficult technical problems.

Design and develop a foundation for real-time internet-scale data processing and management.
Design and develop a platform for software and infrastructure management spanning cloud and on-prem systems.
Develop and maintain observability tooling, including logging, metrics, and alerting spanning cloud and on-prem systems.
Define technical standards and best practices as a leader in the engineering organization.
Reconcile complex, conflicting distributed architecture spanning multiple companies over multiple decades.
Provide technical leadership within DomainTools broadly.
