Have experience building and shipping consumer products that have reached significant numbers of real users.
Demonstrate a track record of owning and delivering complex features end to end.
Bring strong software engineering skills and enthusiasm for coding.
Be comfortable with modern AI-assisted or agentic engineering workflows.
Use available tools and technologies creatively to accelerate development and solve problems.
Apply strong product thinking and understand how engineering decisions affect users and the product.
Bring design intuition and visual/product taste to identify when an experience feels wrong.
Use first-principles problem solving and be willing to challenge established practices when a better solution exists.
Make sound decisions when working without complete specifications or in ambiguous situations.
Communicate and collaborate effectively, including writing, discussing, and challenging product specifications.
Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Demonstrate ownership, independence, and reliability, and drive problems through to completion.
Balance speed and experimentation with the quality expected of a finished consumer product.
Experience as a founding engineer, in an early-stage startup, or in a similarly high-autonomy environment is strongly valued.

Own product features from early ideas and problem definition through implementation, launch, and iteration.
Work with senior leadership to determine what to build, why it matters, and how to deliver it.
Translate ambiguous ideas and evolving requirements into concrete technical and product solutions.
Challenge product requirements and PRDs by weighing engineering investment against user and business value.
Take ownership of complete product surfaces rather than isolated technical components or small roadmap increments.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, product stakeholders, and other team members to unblock work and maintain momentum.
Apply product and design judgment to make features intuitive, polished, and aligned with user needs.
Use development tools, AI coding assistants, and agentic engineering techniques to improve speed and effectiveness.
Make pragmatic technical decisions that prioritize valuable experiences while maintaining appropriate quality and reliability.
Evaluate and improve features based on real-world user feedback and product outcomes.
