Requirements

  • Have 6+ years of experience in privacy program management, privacy operations, data governance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Bring experience operationalizing GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, other US state privacy laws, and sector-specific frameworks such as HIPAA and biometric privacy requirements.
  • Be able to read data flow diagrams, understand system architectures and data handling, and translate legal requirements into engineering implementation.
  • Have experience building or significantly improving privacy review processes, privacy impact assessments, or privacy control frameworks.
  • Have hands-on experience managing consent management platforms and cookie/tracking technology compliance.
  • Be familiar with security and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Have strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and continuously improve the global privacy program, translating legal and regulatory requirements into scalable processes and controls.
  • Coordinate privacy compliance workflows for GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy laws, HIPAA, and applicable biometric privacy requirements.
  • Manage PIAs, DPIAs, and assessments involving AI systems, biometric data, voice technologies, health information, and other sensitive data.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Security to operationalize privacy-by-design across product development.
  • Maintain data inventories, records of processing activities, data flow documentation, and other privacy governance records.
  • Manage data subject and consumer rights request processes, including access, deletion, correction, and opt-out requests.
  • Coordinate third-party and vendor privacy assessments, data processing requirements, privacy risk remediation, and privacy incident response.
  • Administer privacy tooling and consent mechanisms, including cookie and tracking technology configuration, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Develop privacy metrics, dashboards, policies, procedures, playbooks, templates, and internal guidance.
  • Coordinate privacy training and awareness initiatives across the company.
