Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in a technical procurement role.
- Have SaaS experience.
- Bring strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, including experience driving six-figure, multi-year contracts to completion.
- Demonstrate proficiency in core SaaS technologies and trends.
- Understand technology supply-chain operations, including purchase ordering, expense reporting, procurement and sourcing, provisioning and reclamation, renewals, and contract management.
- Demonstrate a strategic mindset for persuasive value conversations with vendors at an executive level.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects while adapting to changing business requirements.
- Familiarity with Zip and Ironclad is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate incoming contracts for technology products, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
- Analyze software and technology platforms, usage, cost drivers, and ROI to advise internal teams on procurement.
- Partner with internal teams to develop strategies for upcoming renewals and define requirements for new technology needs.
- Source and engage suppliers and vendors, and provide RFI and RFP support to internal stakeholders.
- Work with IT, Legal, and Security to ensure contract terms meet legal, regulatory, data security, and privacy requirements.
- Assist with vendor qualification and onboarding.
- Identify and help drive potential cost savings.
