- At least four (4) years of experience in financial management or financial analysis, or a combination of college-level education, professional training, and work experience that provides financial management or analysis knowledge equivalent to four (4) years of experience.

Requirements
- Hold a degree in accounting, or a degree in business administration, finance, or public administration that includes or is supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting, financial management, or financial analysis.
- Have demonstrated experience analyzing and monitoring federal grants administered by states, tribes, or nonprofit organizations.
- Meet one of the stated qualification paths: 24 semester hours in financial management courses (including up to 6 hours in business law), a CPA or CIA certificate obtained through written examination, at least four years of financial management or financial analysis experience, or equivalent education, training, and work experience.
- Be skilled in MS Office 2016 or higher, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass post-hire background screening checks.
- Have wired and/or wireless internet access for remote work.
- Be available for occasional travel.
- Preferred: familiarity with LIHEAP, CSBG, CED, or AFI.
- Preferred: knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and federal cost principles.
- Preferred: experience with financial reporting tools or grant management systems, and skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, performance evaluation, Excel, financial databases, or data visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze federal grant expenditures, budgets, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor fiscal performance of grants awarded to states, tribes, and nonprofit organizations.
- Evaluate cost allocation plans, budget justifications, and drawdown activity against federal regulations and funding agreements.
- Prepare financial summaries, dashboards, and risk assessments for program oversight and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and grantees to resolve financial discrepancies and provide technical assistance.
- Support financial components of site visits, monitoring reviews, and audit readiness.
- Help develop tools, templates, and processes to improve financial tracking and reporting.
- Identify and help mitigate financial risks across grant portfolios.
