Requirements

  • More than 12 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including senior-level People Experience, HR leadership, or business partnering roles.
  • Demonstrated success advising executive leadership teams and translating business priorities into people strategies and organizational development initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen and HR expertise; experience in music, entertainment, or another creative industry is of interest.
  • Experience leading teams, developing talent, and delivering employee experiences and operational improvements.
  • Deep knowledge of Spanish labor law and substantial experience managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Experience with collective bargaining, labor agreements, consultation processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience working in international, matrixed organizations and navigating cross-country cultural, regulatory, and operational differences.
  • Expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, compensation, employee engagement, leadership development, and change management.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and embedding inclusive practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Coaching, consulting, influencing, and relationship-building skills for advising senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, including delivering complex decisions and difficult messages with clarity, discretion, and empathy.
  • Analytical skills, including interpreting people data, identifying trends, and developing evidence-based recommendations.
  • Sound judgment and organizational skills when handling confidential information and sensitive investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the People Experience strategy for Spain and Portugal.
  • Advise executive teams on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent, culture, engagement, and retention.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, career mobility, leadership development, and organizational design.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and support employee wellbeing and positive employee experiences.
  • Manage regional compensation processes, including salary reviews, benchmarking, internal equity, and payroll coordination.
  • Guide employee relations matters involving Spanish employment law, collective bargaining, labor agreements, works councils, trade unions, and employee representatives.
  • Lead reorganizations, integrations, termination processes, and broader transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into practical strategies.
  • Coordinate initiatives with specialist teams across talent acquisition, people operations, compensation and benefits, learning, HR systems, and inclusion.
  • Manage two direct reports and oversee occupational health and safety coordination, investigations, confidential employee matters, and data protection.
