Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale IT or software programs with full budget and delivery accountability.
- Experience managing multi-year programs with multi-million EUR budgets.
- Experience managing distributed, multinational teams.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors or partners.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills in complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to operate independently and make informed trade-off decisions.
- Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset focused on outcomes.
- Practical knowledge of program and delivery frameworks such as PMP or SAFe; certifications are a plus, not a requirement.
- Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex software programs for international clients from initiation through full delivery, with end-to-end accountability for outcomes.
- Define and own program governance, including decision-making structures, escalation paths, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee multi-stream program delivery and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
- Manage dependencies and alignment across internal delivery teams and selected external partners.
- Identify program-level risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive corrective actions.
- Establish and execute change management processes, ensuring traceability between requirements, scope, budget, and contractual agreements.
- Build relationships with clients, sponsors, and key internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support Delivery Managers to align with program goals, delivery standards, and ways of working.
- Build and lead program teams, fostering transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery.
