Requirements

  • Have at least 5 years of program or project management experience in the tech industry.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record leading complex software programs or other cross-team initiatives from start to finish.
  • Influence without direct authority and work effectively across product, engineering, quality, and other functions.
  • Bring strong negotiation, facilitation, and escalation judgment.
  • Manage multiple parallel initiatives, prioritize effectively, and keep execution plans realistic.
  • Have experience coaching program or project managers and improving execution quality beyond your own work.
  • Bring enough technical depth to assess feasibility claims, dependency chains, and delivery risk in a technical environment.
  • Have a technical background or experience working closely with software development teams.
  • Communicate excellently in English, both written and verbal.
  • Understand how complex software programs are structured, planned, and driven through delivery.
  • Formal project management training or certification is a plus.
  • Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, JetBrains tools, or other developer-focused products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the most complex cross-team technical programs in the primary domain.
  • Coordinate complex work across the domain to ensure it is planned and executed to a consistently high standard.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and capacity issues early, and drive mitigation or escalation.
  • Serve as the senior PMO-side escalation point for complex delivery work that gets stuck.
  • Verify execution to keep program status accurate.
  • Work with product, engineering, quality, and service teams to define goals, scope, milestones, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Build program plans and coordination cadences, and clarify resourcing needs with involved teams.
  • Coach TPMs and part-time program leads, and directly manage full-time TPMs when applicable.
  • Contribute to cross-domain priorities as part of the PMO team when needed.
