Requirements

  • Have 3-5+ years of proven Account Manager experience.
  • Bring experience ideally from retail, merchandising, staffing, or workforce solutions.
  • Understand retail operations, labor dynamics, and staffing challenges in high-volume, shift-based environments.
  • Communicate, present, and influence stakeholders from store managers to VP-level executives.
  • Have experience managing multi-location or enterprise accounts; this is a strong plus.
  • Have experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar, and Google Suite.
  • Demonstrate a track record of client-focused solutions and achieving retention and growth targets.
  • Manage multiple accounts and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Bring listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Automotive experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for account management, staffing planning, escalations, and ongoing strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store operations, district, merchandising, distribution center, HR, and other client stakeholders.
  • Learn each client's seasonal hiring, reset and remodel calendars, inventory events, and customer traffic patterns to anticipate workforce needs.
  • Maintain and grow client contracts by identifying upsell and expansion opportunities across locations, distribution centers, regions, and job categories.
  • Ensure timely and successful fulfillment of shifts and workforce solutions in line with client expectations and SLAs.
  • Communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly workforce initiative progress to internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track fill rates, worker performance, client satisfaction, and revenue growth; prepare account health reports and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with Sales to expand existing accounts and partner with Operations to align worker supply with client demand.
  • Resolve challenging client requests and escalations to minimize operational disruption.
