Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Have significant experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Bring professional Next.js experience; modern application architecture and server/client rendering patterns are strongly preferred.
  • Have experience with a modern headless CMS; Payload CMS experience is preferred.
  • Understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, and modern web architecture.
  • Have experience with Git-based workflows, code review, CI/CD, deployment environments, and production release management.
  • Be familiar with or willing to work with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Copilot.
  • Be familiar with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Consent Mode, and digital analytics implementation.
  • Be familiar with cookie consent/CMP platforms such as Securiti or OneTrust and with third-party APIs and SaaS integrations.
  • Bring working knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, website performance, and web security best practices.
  • Be able to translate marketing and business needs into technical requirements, communicate tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders, and prioritize competing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development lifecycle and technical roadmap for the Next.js and Payload CMS marketing website.
  • Architect, develop, review, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and CMS functionality.
  • Establish development standards, CI/CD processes, environment management, documentation, and release practices.
  • Own website performance, reliability, accessibility, technical SEO/AIO, security, and platform health.
  • Design and maintain integrations between the website, APIs, CMS, search, CRM/MAP, analytics, consent, automation, and other marketing platforms.
  • Own implementation and governance of GTM, GA4, consent management, and marketing measurement.
  • Partner with Legal, Security, and IT on privacy, security, vulnerability management, and data governance.
  • Troubleshoot application, deployment, data, tracking, and integration issues.
  • Evaluate platforms and AI-enabled technologies, and manage technical vendors and external development partners.
  • Maintain technical project planning and operational visibility using tools such as Monday.com.
