Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in product management with increasing scope and impact.
- Have 2+ years of direct experience with the MSP business model and workflows.
- Have 3+ years of experience as a platform product manager, owning shared services, backend systems, APIs, data models, or interfaces used by multiple product teams.
- Demonstrate a track record of building and launching platform capabilities.
- Bring strong UX product management experience, including personally leading user research, workflow design, prototyping, usability testing, or customer-facing interface creation.
- Have experience building products for complex B2B users, administrators, operators, or technical professionals.
- Connect technical platform investments to clear user outcomes and business value.
- Exercise product judgment in ambiguous environments and distinguish foundational platform work from one-off feature requests.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and design teams on technical and product decisions.
- Create clear product narratives, requirements, epics, and stories that align teams around intended outcomes.
- Be comfortable as a hands-on individual contributor across strategy, discovery, UX details, execution, and stakeholder leadership.
- Have experience in an agile development environment using modern product and engineering tools.
- Define metrics and use evidence to make prioritization decisions.
- Have experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another complex B2B technology environment; experience serving MSPs, MSSPs, or channel partners is required.
Responsibilities
- Set the integrated product vision and strategy for Core Platform and Platform Value with product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams.
- Own and communicate a roadmap balancing shared platform foundations with partner-visible value, sequencing, tradeoffs, dependencies, and investment cases.
- Lead strategy and discovery for platform capabilities including identity and SSO, RBAC, accounts and organizations, audit logging, and shared services.
- Lead discovery for partner-facing experiences including reporting, dashboards, onboarding, action workflows, and cross-product views.
- Research MSPs and their clients to understand operating models, workflows, permissions, organizational structures, and reporting needs.
- Partner with design to research problems, test concepts, create prototypes, and build usable experiences for complex technical workflows.
- Translate customer, partner, and stakeholder needs into product outcomes, requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Work with engineering, architecture, and design to shape specifications and technical approaches for reusable platform capabilities.
- Establish interfaces, shared objects, APIs, and product contracts that enable other teams to build on the platform.
- Define measurable outcomes, manage product delivery through launch and iteration, and mentor product managers while remaining an individual contributor.
