Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a product management role, with increasing scope and impact.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with the MSP business model and workflows.
  • 3+ years of experience as a platform product manager, owning shared services, backend systems, APIs, data models, or interfaces used by multiple product teams.
  • A track record of building and launching platform capabilities.
  • Strong UX product management experience, including personally leading user research, workflow design, prototyping, usability testing, or customer-facing interface creation.
  • Experience building products for complex B2B users, administrators, operators, or technical professionals.
  • Ability to connect technical platform investments to user outcomes and business value.
  • Experience making technical and product decisions with engineering, architecture, and design teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating product narratives, requirements, epics, and stories.
  • Comfort working as a hands-on individual contributor across strategy, discovery, UX details, execution, and stakeholder leadership.
  • Experience in an agile development environment using modern product and engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and critical-thinking abilities, including defining metrics and using evidence for prioritization.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another complex B2B technology environment; experience with products serving MSPs, MSSPs, or channel partners is required.

Responsibilities

  • Set the integrated product vision and strategy for Core Platform and Platform Value.
  • Own and communicate a roadmap balancing shared platform foundations with partner-visible value.
  • Lead strategy and discovery for identity, SSO, RBAC, accounts, organizations, audit logging, shared services, and product enablement.
  • Lead strategy and discovery for partner-facing reporting, dashboards, onboarding, action workflows, and cross-product experiences.
  • Research MSPs’ and their clients’ workflows, permissions, organizational structures, reporting needs, and jobs to be done.
  • Partner with design to research user problems, test concepts, and produce wireframes and prototypes.
  • Translate customer, partner, and stakeholder needs into product outcomes, requirements, epics, and user stories.
  • Shape product specifications and technical approaches with engineering, architecture, and design teams.
  • Establish shared interfaces, objects, APIs, and product contracts for teams building on the platform.
  • Define measurable outcomes, guide products through launch and iteration, and mentor product managers while remaining an individual contributor.
